Chapter 19

Annika and Aarti went to their rooms and now both the girls applied their brains on to how to get Arnav and Khushi together as one. Anuj and Aarti told Anuj also about what they saw and he too was super shocked;
Anuj: i cant believe it are you serious.
Annika: yeah i am i was shocked too Aarti found out yesterday and she locked them in the store room and when they came out mamma challenged didi to kiss him and she did it
Aarti: they are a prince and princess they love each other alot mamma is made for didi and didi is made for mamma i know it. (she said with a glint of love in her eyes)
Aanika: yeah true they do look nice together. and didi is so nice she will never mistreat us, i mean imagine if mamma marries La she will never love us like her own but if he marries didi then we will always be loved and live like a family just like mama always wanted
Anuj: mama only sent her to us and to mamma. Mama made them meet because she knows that didi is perfect for mamma. (he said remembering his mother)
Aarti: you know i also spoke to the stars yesterday and told mama about this
Annika: you know guys i think they are a match made in heaven, if mama chose her to be with mamma then we must help her
Aarti: yeah we should
Anuj: wow this is like a mission
Aarti: yes mission Arshi (she said excited)
Annika: (confused) Arshi
Aarti: (in a cute baby voice) Arnav + Khushi= Arshi
They chuckled at her now the 3 of them were on a mission and it was called Mission Arshi. they were discussing there plan
Annika: ok i think to get this mission forward we should all split
Anuj: Split but how i dont understand
Annika: Aarti you go to mamma's room see how he is feeling try 2 remove as much of information from him, your his favorite, Anuj you go down to nani and parnani and talk to them ask them about what they think of khushi didi and do they like her we must know what there thoughts are as we dont want 2 go against them. (anuj nodded) and i will go 2 khushi didi and find out what she feels
Aarti ok didi sounds good lets go.
they all headed of to perform their tasks.

Arnav;s room:
Aarti was coming into his room when she saw him walk up and down in deep thought she knew he was thinking about the incident she decided to stay back for bit and observe him. this kid is pretty smart for a 5 year old, she stayed back. Arnav was babbling to himself
Arnav: dammit what just happened, she kissed me and then ran away and i just stood there and didnt do anything... (he said frustrated) what is wrong with me i challenged her in the first place and kissed her cheek because i thought that she would never be able to complete the challenge but she did it and she did more than it. (a flash back going through his mind of the kiss he touched his lips and he smiled his heart started to beat faster) but the kiss was nice her lips were soft like sponge, and they tasted sweet (Aarti blushed and tried to control her giggles) God Arnav what is wrong with you now is not the tiem to go gaga on her kiss think of what you are going to tell her or what she is going to tell you this is weird why does this girl affect me so much she just an employee, so why is she so special that i get carried away with her.
Aarti had had enough she had to jump into the scene and fast so she knocked and Arnav saw her standing she smiled and came in he sat on the recliner siting on his computer trying to hide his emotions when she made her way to his lap and sat on it
Aarti: hi mamma what you doing (she asked cutely)
Arnav: nothing i am working (he said serious)
Aarti: sorry i got you and didi locked in the store room but it wasnt my fault the wind came and shut the door. (she said softly)
Arnav: (caressed her face and said) its ok, i know
Aarti: mamma you dont like khushi didi na (she said softly)
Arnav looked up at her not knowing what to answer he himself was so confused so he asked
Arnav: why are you asking me that
Aarti: because i know you dont like her you fight with her so much
Arnav: (didnt know what to answer her and so he asked her) do you like her
Aarti: off course i do she is kind and warm and she is so pretty just like a princess
Arnav mentally agreed with aarti as she described khushi her face popping in her head a smirk came on his face and it looked so dreamy Aarti smiled at his look, but shook him out of it and then he looked at her and she said
Aarti: you know mamma Khushi didi  will marry a prince who will kiss her.
Arnav looked shocked at Aarti did she just say that a prince will kiss Khushi and that she will love him. does she love him this thought crossed his mind he didnt know what was going on his heart now beating uncontrollably. he took a deep breath  composed herself and said
Arnav: what makes you say this that he will kiss her.
Aarti: because thats what all prince and princess do. the prince will love her and protect her and then he will marry her and kiss her like the Cinderella story. You know mamma prince charming loves his Cinderella alot thats why he kissed her
Arnav heart was screaming at him when Aarti mentioned the word love. was this strange emotion love was he falling in love with her. he took a deep breath feeling warm in his belly not understand what was going on. Aarti noticed the look on Arnav's face now it was time to make her exit she slowly got off his lap and kissed his cheek and the said
Aarti: mamma i am going down i think you are busy i will play with you later
she ran downstairs leaving lost Arnav to ponder over what they just spoke off.

The kitchen
Annika searched the entire house for khushi and eventually found her in the kitchen. She was standing in front of the gas making hot jalebies and she looked so stressed.
Khushi: (thinking to herself) what just happened i kissed him. i actually kissed him how could i. how could i kiss him how could he kiss me, whats going to happen hey devi maya how will i face him now like this what will i say to him. (her cheeks became hot) what if he shouts at me i did cross the line, but i only did it because he pressurized me to (she debated and then said) but he told me to kiss his cheeks i kissed his lips how could i what made me take this step Khushi what have you done
she too was in deep thought. Annika came in and said
Annika: didi your making jalebies everything ok
Khushi: (looked up and said) yeah everything fine
Annika: are you sure you looked tensed
Khushi: no no i am fine
Annika: did u fight with mamma i mean you two were in the store room did he tell you anything
A flash back of both the kisses played in her mind and a small blush came up her cheeks. Annika noticed then she said
Annika: anyway didi forget mamma i have some exciting news.
Khushi looked at her blank and then Annika said
Annika: you know Ishaan kissed me
Khushi: (shrieked) What
Annika: shh some one will hear you
Khushi: when and why didnt you tell me
Annika: i am telling you now. he kissed me in the park, oh didi the kiss was so magical it was my first kiss and it was so perfect. when his lips touched mine, they were so rough you know but still it fell so good and it tasted delicious (khushi now had another flashback of the kiss and this time she put her hand on her lip with out realizing and she felt his lips on hers. a smile came on her face remembering their kiss, it was her first kiss too and it was so good)
Annika : (noticed how aloof she was, to make this more serious she said) oh didi if this is what love is called then i just love love
Khushi heard what she said and the first thing that rang in her mind was love. teh word echoed into her mind her eyes popped out and she looked lost her heart screamed out the word love with every beat as she held her chest It jsut struck her was this strange feeling love, did she love him did he love
Annika noticed this and left from there quietly.

Anuj tried to find out as much of information he could from Ratna and nani and it turns out that they love khushi alot and would like a daughter in law as her so she would take care of the house well he did try to hint to them that Arnav and Khushi are perfect he just hoped they got it. Annika Anuj and Aarti met back in their room to exchange notes on what to do next, but for now the seeds of love have been planted in their heads
