In a huge mansion, lay a lady dressed in white, she looked pale and dry, her hands and feet were cold and she had electronic wires attached to her arms ,which monitored her heart rate, she was on the verge of dying, she lay their on the white silk cloth and spoke to her family for the last time, and that woman was none other than anjili raizada, she belonged to the richest household in the delhi, her brother a famous business tycoon name Arnav singh raizada was not only known for his acute business skills but also his ruthless behavior, her mother Ratna Raizada was a women who had been through a lot, her husband cheated on her and then committed suicide, but the women stayed strong for her kids, her nani Devyani raizada was a fine women, who was soft hearted and kind nature, today they had all gathered around to talk to her for the last time, anjili was dying out of pancreatic cancer and was a special case, she was treated by every doctor in town, and that’s not all, her brother got her sent to the United States of America to check for an opinion for the cure of her cancer, but it wasn’t any use, and it was destiny, she was meant to die,

As they sat around her anjili spoke to each and every one of them starting with her nani

Anjili: dear nani, I only want to thank you for all you have done for me, for taking us in at a time like this, (she spoke in a steely voice)

Nani: (tears in her eyes said, while holding her hand) anjilibetiya I would never let u suffer, how could I not take u in, you all are my life, and if I had my way I wish I could stop this from happening

Anjili smiled at her as she wiped her tears with her cold hands, then she turned to her mother and said

Anjili: mama, you and I have been through the same thing, your husband cheated on you and died and mine heard the news of my cancer and left me, he didn’t even think of his kids, (she wept) mama thank you so much for supporting me and taking care of me, I am truly grateful to you

Ratna: anjili my child, my baby, you’re my daughter , and I love you very much, yes it is true we went through the same thing, but we came out of it as well, and I am glad that I was there for you as you were for me, (she cried while talking)

Anjili controlled herself, she took a deep breath, as the person who she was going to talk to was one of the most important person in her life, it was her little brother her chottey who she not only adored but was very attached too as well, he looked away from her, not able to see his sister like this, and she knew it well, still she called out to him

Anjili: chottey (she coughed a bit)

Arnav slowly turned around and looked at his sister’s pale like face, he had big huge tears in his eyes and a lump in his through, slowly he caressed her face feeling her warmth for the last time, she placed her hand on his face and smiled at him, and said

Anjili: so your still upset ha

Arnav: how can u leave me like this, (he said softly)

Anjili: we tried didn’t we, we went to the best doctor possible but still there was no chance, this is meant to be

Arnav: (sulking) its not fair, arnav singh raizada writes his own faith, its not whats suppose to happen

Anjili: (smiled at him and then placed a hand on his cheeks) come now chottey, I have an important matter to discuss with u

Arnav looked up right and listened to his sister as she spoke in a soft voice

Anjili: I have decided to hand over the children’s custody to you

Arnav: (shocked) what but di, how can I….

Anjili: (smiled at him and said) u can, chottey I am giving u my most prized possession and that is my 3 children, I want u to be the legal guardian to them, chottey their father left them and went away, and now I their mother is leaving them as well, they have no one in this world, except for you, now I know your not fond of children but give it time u will learn to love them, and they will learn to love you, this is my last wish

Arnav: di I understand and I will do this, as it is your last wish its just I don’t know how, I mean you know me I cant stand kids, how am I going to take care of them how (he said asking for advice)

Anjili: don’t treat them like they are a responsibility treat them like a friend, chottey they don’t need some one ordering them around they need a friend, they need some one who can understand them and talk to them, they need some one who will stay with them and protect them and love them, they need a father who is just like a friend, only then they will feel like they have been loved and taken care off,

Arnav sighed and took a breath, and then ratna said

Ratna: anjili we are there for the children and we will always take care of them, don’t worry,

Anjili: I know ma, (she smiled) but chottey is the only one who can make them feel protected, ma, when he came into this world he was not only your son but mine as well, chottey knows what its like to loose me and the kids are going through the same thing, they are all in one boat, at this stage they need to take care of each other,

Ratna and nani nodded their heads in approval of her decision, arnav turned around and said

Arnav: I understand I will do it, I will be their guardian, I will take care of them and protect them, di

anjili smiles and said

anjili: I have faith in you

she shuts her eyes and within a a few seconds ,the monitor makes a beeping noise and shows a straight line indicating that she is dead, and they all start crying

hi guys like u all know write 2 ongoing ff's called "love and other disasters" and "Cinderella must be protected" i am now starting a new ff' its a joint venture with another arshi fan called megha gupta aka bindaasgal, its a new story and a brand new concept with the same characters  with that i hope you enjoy the story 

Introduction

this  story is based on a rich business tycoon Arnav singh raizada and a young bubbly girl khushi kumara gupta , in an unfortunate event arnav sister anjili dies, and leaves three children behind, she decides to make her brother the guardian of the three children, in spite of her mother and nani being around, she takes this step as she feels that her children will be safe an protected in arnav’s care, she also knows her brothers nature, and knows that he does not like kids, but yet she  takes the chance as she knows that this will change his life for the better,

khushi is a young girl in her 20’s and is poor but is very bubbly and vibrant her positive attitude to life is what she treasures the most, khushi’s parents died in a car accident and ever since then she has been staying with her buaji and masa and masi who she treats like her real parents, khushi is a smart girl but is a little childish, 

arnav find out about a plot in laxminagar that he wants to brake and make into a new factory, the plot belongs to khushi’sbuaji, when she finds out about this she comes to talk to him hopping he would understand, but as she enters she faces his wrath, khushi is not the one to take his crap she gives it back to him, and this goes on for long, until she enters his house once and comes to talk to him at home hoping he would understand, and there she meets the children,

Will the children like her, and will her meeting the children benefit arnav what will happen next stay tuned to  find out

Characters

Arnav singh raizada= is a rich and famous business tycoon, he is smart young and dashing, all the rich ladies have crushes on him, at parties they always he is an angry young man, his past makes him like that, although he has a hard heart, but from the inside he is soft and mild especially towards his sister and his mother, they mean the world to him, and their happiness and protection is on top priority

Khushi kumara gupta= is a young girl who is kind hearted and honest, she is traditional and has good values inculcated in her, she lives with her amma babuji and buaji, they are a middle class family, her dad runs a sweet shop, and she is fond of him, she enjoys spending time in his sweet shop that’s where she learnt to make jalebies, they are her comfort food, she is a bubbly girl and can be childish at times but that does not make her naïve she is smart when she has to be

Ratna raizada: is is arnav’s mother, she is a widowed woman, her husband cheated on her with another woman, and when she found out about it, she decided to leave him and he committed suicide because of that, she is an emotional woman, and her husband’s betrayal has caused her much pain, she adores arnav and calls him chottey

Anjili raizada= is arnav’s sister she is a warm hearted woman, Anjili has pancreatic cancer and dies leaving three children but before her death, she faced a similar problem like her mother, when her husband found out that she has cancer he left her and her three kids and went, arnav is also close to his sister and because of her cancer he would always take extra care with her

Devyani raizada= is ratna’s mother and arnav’s nani, she is a smart woman, she is the eldest in the family, her kind nature makes her understanding , she is a calm person

Manorma raizada: is devyani’s daughter in law, she is married to ratna’s brother, she tries to be modern and talks in half hindi and English, she can be insulting at times, but she is not a bad person she is close to her sister in law, and treats her like a sister, she cares a lot for arnav and Anjili and her kids, she has a son his name is akash

Akash raizada: is arnav’s cousin, he is a calm and composed person, he doesn’t get angry fast unlike his brother, he looks up to arnav personally and professionally, he helps arnav run AR designs and has an equal share in it

Anika raizada: is a 15 years old she is a young teenager, finds herself to be ugly when she is really not, like every other teenager she too tries to fit in and have friends, she is the oldest of anjili’s children and looks out for her brother and sister,

Anuj raizada: is the middle child of anjili’s children, he is a over smart and is a prankster, he loves playing practical jokes, on his sister, he is smart and is good looking, he is 12 years of age,

Aarti raizada: is the youngest of anjili’s children she is 5 years old, she is small and is cute she loves to play with her Barbie dolls her favorite color is pink and purple, and she loves her teddy bear, she is scared of arnav because of his temper but still she loves him and looks up to him like a father, as she feels protected by his presence, she tries hard to make him like her, and he gets angry at that, still she never loses hope

Shyam manohar jha: is a complete villain, he is anjili’s husband and is a lawyer, he married his wife for her money, and when he found out she has cancer he was happy at first as he thought that all her share will come to him  once she dies but when Anjili put a clause in the will that stated that all her money was to be divided between her children, he was upset, the clause also mentions that he is not in charge of the money transactions as that would be moderated by her brother, Anjili put this clause because she knew her brother would be satisfied if he was given this job, this made shyam mad as he couldn’t access her money and hence he left her, he currently has no contact with them

Buaji: is a strong woman, she is khushi’s bua she is strong and belives in doing right, all though she is like that she is also very cute, she is fond of khushi and loves her the most, she often says hia re nand kishore

Garima: is a kind women, she is soft hearted, and naïve but is very warm

Shashi: is khushi’s father, he also belives in doing the right thing, he is sensible and is smart and reads people well before judging them

Payal: is khushi’s sister, she is a simple girl just like khushi, but she is more quite by nature
