Annika and Aarti went to their rooms and now both the girls applied their brains on to how to get Arnav and Khushi together as one. Anuj and Aarti told Anuj also about what they saw and he too was super shocked;
Anuj: i cant believe it are you serious.
Annika: yeah i am i was shocked too Aarti found out yesterday and she locked them in the store room and when they came out mamma challenged didi to kiss him and she did it
Aarti: they are a prince and princess they love each other alot mamma is made for didi and didi is made for mamma i know it. (she said with a glint of love in her eyes)
Aanika: yeah true they do look nice together. and didi is so nice she will never mistreat us, i mean imagine if mamma marries La she will never love us like her own but if he marries didi then we will always be loved and live like a family just like mama always wanted
Anuj: mama only sent her to us and to mamma. Mama made them meet because she knows that didi is perfect for mamma. (he said remembering his mother)
Aarti: you know i also spoke to the stars yesterday and told mama about this
Annika: you know guys i think they are a match made in heaven, if mama chose her to be with mamma then we must help her
Aarti: yeah we should
Anuj: wow this is like a mission
Aarti: yes mission Arshi (she said excited)

They chuckled at her now the 3 of them were on a mission and it was called Mission Arshi. they were discussing there plan

Annika: Aarti you go to mamma's room see how he is feeling try 2 remove as much of information from him, your his favorite, Anuj you go down to nani and parnani and talk to them ask them about what they think of khushi didi and do they like her we must know what there thoughts are as we dont want 2 go against them. Aarti ok didi sounds good lets go.
they all headed of to perform their tasks.
Arnav;s room:
Aarti was coming into his room when she saw him walk up and down in deep thought she knew he was thinking about the incident she decided to stay back for bit and observe him. this kid is pretty smart for a 5 year old, she stayed back. Arnav was babbling to himself
Arnav: dammit what just happened, she kissed me and then ran away and i just stood there and didnt do anything... Aarti had had enough she had to jump into the scene and fast so she knocked and Arnav saw her standing she smiled and came in he sat on the recliner siting on his computer trying to hide his emotions when she made her way to his lap and sat on it

Annika searched the entire house for khushi and eventually found her in the kitchen. She was standing in front of the gas making hot jalebies and she looked so stressed.

Khushi heard what she said and the first thing that rang in her mind was love. teh word echoed into her mind her eyes popped out and she looked lost her heart screamed out the word love with every beat as she held her chest It jsut struck her was this strange feeling love, did she love him did he love
Annika noticed this and left from there quietly.
Anuj tried to find out as much of information he could from Ratna and nani and it turns out that they love khushi alot and would like a daughter in law as her so she would take care of the house well he did try to hint to them that Arnav and Khushi are perfect he just hoped they got it. Annika Anuj and Aarti met back in their room to exchange notes on what to do next, but for now the seeds of love have been planted in their heads

They came out of the store room Ratna said
Ratna: i told you betiya to be careful of the door
Khushi: i am sorry aunty i was so busy looking for the doll house that i didnt realize
Annika went and removed the sheet of the doll house and said

they all looked back and then Aarti leaped towards the house and said in an excited voice
Aarti: wow you found it yeah (she screeched happily)
they all came out of the store room, Khushi was about to leave when Arnav held her hand and pulled her back she came crashing o n his chest her back towards him and his hand on her waist, she didnt say a word. He bent down and kissed her neck lightly letting his lips gaze on her neck she shut her eyes unknowingly feeling the magic her hearth thumping loud as hell. He then came up to her ear and said
Arnav: remember the bet khushi
She opened her eyes and turned towards him still in his arms a naughty grin on his face they looked at each other and she freed her self from him. coming back to her senses she looked at him with anger now on her face the sudden switch was because her mind told her what just happened she was annoyed at him for kissing her. Arnav noticed her anger his naughty smirk going wider and wider she said
Khushi: how dare you kiss me, i am not some play girl of yours that you can do all this with me understand (she said screaming at him)
Arnav: what did i do?? that your yelling so much Khushi you were the one who said you had guts so i asked you to proved it and i proved my guts as well (he said casually)
Khushi: there are alot other ways than proving your guts Mr raizada what was the need for you to choose this method
Arnav: i dont know i thought of it in the spur of the moment but whats the problem with this (he said smartly he was well aware he hit her week spot)

Arnav expected her not to kiss thats why he threw the challenge at her but she kissed him and she didnt kiss him on his cheek but on his lips. it was a shock to him. He opened his eyes to look at her and saw hers were shut her lips still on his he opened his mouth and her lip started to suck the bottom of his lip. That moment felt the most magical for them. with their hearts jumping as high as possible butterflies in their stomachs Arnav pulled her close with out realizing and raped his arms around her tiny waist. she snaked her arms around his neck they were in a tight embrace and it was so perfect. Her eyes still shut she enjoyed his taste his musky smell turned her on more and more. Arnav was lost in the moment and was so carried away. her lips tasted so sweet. He unknowingly bit her bottom lip and feeling the bite she came back to her senses and stood still Arnav felt no movement from her he opened his eyes and she did the same they stared into each other for a second with their lips still tangled. he slolwy let go of her she came down and they stood in front of each other staring blankly not knowing what to say. Annika: what the hell was that (she said not believing her eyes)
Aarti: oh they kissed this is the best thing ever, my plan worked
Annika: (confused) your plan worked ??
Aarti: oh didi this was all my set up, Arnav mamma and khushi didi love each other but wont admit it, i found out yesterday and so i decided to get them to tell each other so that they can live like a prince and a princess happily ever after
Annika: wait did u just say they love each other
Aarti: alot they are madly in love with each other the way they see each other the way khushi didi gets jealous shows they love each other
Annika: Aarti are you sure they love each other they fight all the time
Aarti: didi if i wasnt sure i wouldnt do this (she said matter of factually) look at mamma's after the kiss

Morning broke and an excited Aarti woke up from bed she was the first the wake up. Arnav was still in bed and was fast asleep she pecked his cheeks and got out of bed quietly closing the door so he doesnt wake up she went down to the garden with her little toy in her hand. Walking up and down she started to think of a plan to get Khushi and Arnav to spend time together the more time they spend together they will realize about each others feelings. but how should she do it her index finger was on her chin
Aarti: i need Arnav mamma and khushi didi to spend time together.. (thinking position) hmm but how will i do it Arnav mamma will be office and he comes home only at 6. Oh Aarti think this is not maths its easy think think what should i do.
Ratna and Nani who were up for the early morning pooja saw Aarti sitting in the garden Ratna came to came to her and then said

Ratna: how come you got up so early

Ratna: (came to her and smiled and then said) ok come betiya we are doing the morning pooja come with us. After that i will give you milk
Aarti tagged along with Ratna still thinking of a plan she prayed to god and spoke to her mother for help during the pooja and then they headed towards the dinning table to eat breakfast. At the breakfast table
Ratna: here you go your milk
Aarti: thanks nani ma (she smiled and then took her glass from her)
Khushi came down Nani and Ratna smiled at her and wished her good morning as she came out of the kitchen with a big plate of toast an butter. Aarti was playing with her doll when Khushi said
Khushi: you know Aarti i also had a doll like this once
Aarti: i know didi u told me she was dressed in indian clothes (she smiled and reminded her)
Khushi: (caressed her cheeks and then said) yes she was and you know my babuji made me a small house also for her.
Aarti: wow thats nice didi ... Cindiya has no house (she said looking sad)
Khushi: dont worry we will make her one (she smiled)
Nani: no need betiya we have an old doll house up it was Anjili betiyas doll house
Aarti :(excited she said)wow mama's doll house can i play with it
Ratna: off course you can its for you, its lying up in the store room we will remove it later. but be careful if you go into the store room dont shut the door unless your outside the room because it gets locked from inside.
Aarti: (smiled and then an idea struck her and she said) Didi will you help me remove it i really really really want to see it please please please with a cherry on top (she said with a cute smiled looking at khushi)
Khushi: (smiled at her and then said) off course i will baby but after breakfast
Aarti: please (she looked so cute) can we do it now
Ratna: your excited to play with your mama's doll house ha
Aarti: yeah nani and i really want to see it
Nanni: ok then Khushi betiya go to the store room bring the doll house now
khushi smiled and then took Aarti they reached up to the store room which was dark and dungey not to mention dirty too. Khushi switched on the lights and there was so much of stuff in there that it would take ages to find her doll house she looked at the place and said
Khushi: hey devi maya so much stuff how will we find the doll house, it will take all day
Aarti: yeah it would didi,
Khushi: ok come on lets search for it (she tied up her dupatta on her waste and bunched her hair) come on sweetie lets get to work
they started searching for the doll house but couldn't find it Aarti saw it a long time back but smartly covered a rug over it so she wouldnt find it.
Khushi: oh its been so long we cant find it (she said looking tired)
Aarti: (smiled and then said) oh dont worry didi, i will get Hp he may know where it is.
Khushi: yeah thats a good idea
Aarti smiled and ran down but instead of going to hp she ran into Arnav who was on his way down for breakfast. he bumped into her and said
Arnav: slow down where are you going (he asked concerned)
Aarti: oh mama i need your help please

Aarti: you see i want to find mama's old doll house for my doll and its in the storeroom but i cant find it can you help me
Arnav: why do you want that old doll house i will by you a new one
Aarti: its mamas thats why mamma can you please help me and didi.
Arnav: (took a deep breath and then said) ok come on
she held his finger and took him up to store room. while walking up the breeze was blowing in from the near by window they reached the store room and Arnav walked in, to see a khushi standing on the stool her hair was flying, she looked so pretty that Arnav could just stair at her all day. The stool was shaking and she was about to fall because of that when he quickly ran towards her and she fell right into his arms. There was silence as the two unknown lovers looked into each others eyes have an intense moment as their hearts pounded against their chest feeling each others presence. Aarti shut the door with a bang both Arnav and Khushi looked towards the door to find it shut and Aarti out. He put her down and ran towards the door. Aarti on ,mthe other side of the door was smiling about her plan being half successful. She said
Aarti: mamma the door shut with the wind
Arnav: ok dont worry i will open it stay right there (he tried to open the door)
Khushi: its not use we are locked her because Auntyji told me that the door locks from the inside when it is shut
Arnav: (rolling his eyes he said) oh great we are stuck in here.
Khushi rolled her eyes and then headed of to searching for the doll house while Arnav tried to figure a way out of there. Aarti prayed that her plan would work.
Aarti: mamma i am sorry its not my fault (she pretended to cry so that it looked real)
Arnav: ok cry go down and get some one
Aarti: ok mama i will
she waited for 10 minutes.
Inside the store room
Arnav: what are you doing here any way
Khsuhi: finding for the doll house she said looking at some old things when she came across a book and happened to open it she covered her mouth and started laughing.
Arnav: (looked at her confused and then said) you think this funny i am locked her in a store room with the help (he said annoyed)
Khsuhi: mind it mr raizada i am the governess not the servant, and i am laughing at this (she held up a picture)
Arnav came to take the picture from her and saw it, it was his child hood picture and it was the time when he was 5 years old, he was dressed in a bat man costume. Arnav looked embarrassed
Khushi: is that you (she tried to ask and controlled her laughter)
Arnav: (irritated) what ever
Khushi: no i mean if it you then its..(she couldnt complete her sentence)

He leaped forward her breath becoming heavier she could feel his breath on her neck coming closer she shut her eyes he leaped to her cheek and slowly placed his lips on her hot red burning cheek her heart started to beat faster and faster. Khushi opened her eyes the minute he leaped back and it struck her he kissed her. her eyes widened and she stood there silent Arnav smirked as he left her and stood back folding her arms he said
Arnav: you have 24 hours show me your guts kiss me back
Khushi stood there dumb struck no knowing what to do, the shock still in her, they heard a knock on the door it was Akash
Akash: bhai all ok
Arnav and she turned around and then Arnav said

Akash: i know aarti told me dont worry i have told the carpenter he is here
The carpenter started to open the lock and in a second the door opened ratna and the rest stood out Aarti stood there seeing their reaction she saw khsuhi blushing that means definatly something has happened she smiled and hope that some good would come out of this mess like she planned

Aarti tagged along with Ratna still thinking of a plan she prayed to god and spoke to her mother for help during the pooja and then they headed towards the dinning table to eat breakfast. At the breakfast table
Ratna: here you go your milk
Aarti: thanks nani ma (she smiled and then took her glass from her)
Khushi came down Nani and Ratna smiled at her and wished her good morning as she came out of the kitchen with a big plate of toast an butter. Aarti was playing with her doll when Khushi said

Aarti: i know didi u told me she was dressed in indian clothes (she smiled and reminded her)
Khushi: (caressed her cheeks and then said) yes she was and you know my babuji made me a small house also for her.
Aarti: wow thats nice didi ... Cindiya has no house (she said looking sad)
Khushi: dont worry we will make her one (she smiled)
Nani: no need betiya we have an old doll house up it was Anjili betiyas doll house
Aarti :(excited she said)wow mama's doll house can i play with it
Ratna: off course you can its for you, its lying up in the store room we will remove it later. but be careful if you go into the store room dont shut the door unless your outside the room because it gets locked from inside.
Aarti: (smiled and then an idea struck her and she said) Didi will you help me remove it i really really really want to see it please please please with a cherry on top (she said with a cute smiled looking at khushi)
Khushi: (smiled at her and then said) off course i will baby but after breakfast
Aarti: please (she looked so cute) can we do it now
Ratna: your excited to play with your mama's doll house ha
Aarti: yeah nani and i really want to see it
Nanni: ok then Khushi betiya go to the store room bring the doll house now
khushi smiled and then took Aarti they reached up to the store room which was dark and dungey not to mention dirty too. Khushi switched on the lights and there was so much of stuff in there that it would take ages to find her doll house she looked at the place and said
Khushi: hey devi maya so much stuff how will we find the doll house, it will take all day
Aarti: yeah it would didi,
Khushi: ok come on lets search for it (she tied up her dupatta on her waste and bunched her hair) come on sweetie lets get to work
they started searching for the doll house but couldn't find it Aarti saw it a long time back but smartly covered a rug over it so she wouldnt find it.
Khushi: oh its been so long we cant find it (she said looking tired)
Aarti: (smiled and then said) oh dont worry didi, i will get Hp he may know where it is.
Khushi: yeah thats a good idea
Aarti smiled and ran down but instead of going to hp she ran into Arnav who was on his way down for breakfast. he bumped into her and said
Arnav: slow down where are you going (he asked concerned)
Aarti: oh mama i need your help please
Arnav: with what
Aarti: you see i want to find mama's old doll house for my doll and its in the storeroom but i cant find it can you help me
Arnav: why do you want that old doll house i will by you a new one
Aarti: its mamas thats why mamma can you please help me and didi.
Arnav: (took a deep breath and then said) ok come on
she held his finger and took him up to store room. while walking up the breeze was blowing in from the near by window they reached the store room and Arnav walked in, to see a khushi standing on the stool her hair was flying, she looked so pretty that Arnav could just stair at her all day. The stool was shaking and she was about to fall because of that when he quickly ran towards her and she fell right into his arms. There was silence as the two unknown lovers looked into each others eyes have an intense moment as their hearts pounded against their chest feeling each others presence. Aarti shut the door with a bang both Arnav and Khushi looked towards the door to find it shut and Aarti out. He put her down and ran towards the door. Aarti on ,mthe other side of the door was smiling about her plan being half successful. She said
Aarti: mamma the door shut with the wind
Arnav: ok dont worry i will open it stay right there (he tried to open the door)
Khushi: its not use we are locked her because Auntyji told me that the door locks from the inside when it is shut
Arnav: (rolling his eyes he said) oh great we are stuck in here.
Khushi rolled her eyes and then headed of to searching for the doll house while Arnav tried to figure a way out of there. Aarti prayed that her plan would work.
Aarti: mamma i am sorry its not my fault (she pretended to cry so that it looked real)
Arnav: ok cry go down and get some one
Aarti: ok mama i will
she waited for 10 minutes.
Inside the store room
Arnav: what are you doing here any way
Khsuhi: finding for the doll house she said looking at some old things when she came across a book and happened to open it she covered her mouth and started laughing.
Arnav: (looked at her confused and then said) you think this funny i am locked her in a store room with the help (he said annoyed)
Khsuhi: mind it mr raizada i am the governess not the servant, and i am laughing at this (she held up a picture)
Arnav came to take the picture from her and saw it, it was his child hood picture and it was the time when he was 5 years old, he was dressed in a bat man costume. Arnav looked embarrassed
Khushi: is that you (she tried to ask and controlled her laughter)
Arnav: (irritated) what ever
Khushi: no i mean if it you then its..(she couldnt complete her sentence)
Arnav: (looked up at her shr looked a bit scared he pinned her to the wall, her breasts again perking out to his chest and then said) its what
Khsuhi: (she looked down lowered her gaze, she breathed hard her bosoms going up and down against his chest) its.. (she took a deep breath and he waited for her answer and she just said it) cute
she looked up into Arnavs eyes and he looked back at her they both stared at each other Arnav felt nice, the warmth spreading into his body when she said she found him cute his heart was pounding faster he slowly let go of her but not fully he couldnt show he was week so in an instant he pushed her back to the wall again and she looked up at him and then he said
Arnav: (smirking) so you find me cute
Khushi: (looking at him said) i found your baby picture cute
Arnav:(raised his eye brows) ok but what do you think of me now (he said in a naughty tone)
Khushi: looked blank at him her heart asking her to scream all her feelings to him this instant but she chose to keep quite.
Arnav: (smirked and then said) just as i thought you dont have to guts
Khsuhi: (looked back at him and said) guts !!
Arnav: yeah you dont have the guts you just act strong you arent (he smirked more)
Khushi: (looked back at him with fire and then said) i have loads of guts what do you know
Arnav: really you do (he raised his eye brows)
Khushi: (holding her head high she said) yes i do
Arnav: (smirked) ok then i challenge you
He leaped forward her breath becoming heavier she could feel his breath on her neck coming closer she shut her eyes he leaped to her cheek and slowly placed his lips on her hot red burning cheek her heart started to beat faster and faster. Khushi opened her eyes the minute he leaped back and it struck her he kissed her. her eyes widened and she stood there silent Arnav smirked as he left her and stood back folding her arms he said
Arnav: you have 24 hours show me your guts kiss me back
Khushi stood there dumb struck no knowing what to do, the shock still in her, they heard a knock on the door it was Akash
Akash: bhai all ok
Arnav and she turned around and then Arnav said
Arnav: we are locked Akash
Akash: i know aarti told me dont worry i have told the carpenter he is here
The carpenter started to open the lock and in a second the door opened ratna and the rest stood out Aarti stood there seeing their reaction she saw khsuhi blushing that means definatly something has happened she smiled and hope that some good would come out of this mess like she planned

Chapter 16
They entered the room. Arnav lay Aarti on the bed and put the blanket on her, tucking her into a nice soft bundle he switched on the night light on the near by bed side table and was going to leave when I was she stopped him.
Aarti: Mamma you are not sleeping (she said in her cute voice)
Arnav: No i will sleep in a while
Aarti made a scred face she was worried that he may go out of the room and she will be alone by herself. Which was scary to her Arnav noticed he stopped came by her sat and sat on the bed she watched him with her innocent eyes he tucked her hair locks behind and then said
Arnav: i am right here don't worry i am not leaving you alone, i am outside
Aarti gave him her brave girl smile and looked up at him with a twinkle in her eye and then said
Aarti: ok good night mamma
Arnav: good night
Saying that he went to the pool side to pack up his lap top. Aarti pretended to shut her eyes but was actually watching what he was doing. Her curious mind was churning and turning away.
Meanwhile he was packing his lap top and his eyes happen to go to the spot where they had their encounter a few hours ago. He had a flash back of how he pulled her up to his chest. A small smirk appeared on his face. But what happened to him back then, the minute he pulled her close to him his heart would start to beat as fast as lightening its a good thing he composed himself in front of her and didn't allow his emotions to expose in front of her. He looked up at the stars and another flashback in his mind the one when she told him that the stars resemble the people who dye and leave. At first he though it was ridiculous but then a voice inside him said
Arnav: but what if its true what if the stars are dead people what if some where in those stars is di sitting up there and watching me. What if she is close to me. I wish i could talk to her. But how do i find her there are so many stars up in the sky, (looking up he got irrupted at the cluster of stars and then turned away scrunching his eyes) This theory is stupid it makes no sense (he was walking towards the room Aarti shut her eyes again pretending to sleep. Arnav walked in then paused the voice again spoke within him) But whats the harm in trying no one is here anyway. All you have to do is look up at the sky and talk 2 the stars.... But i how do i know which one is di... this is really stupid.. (he went back out to the pool side area and looked up again taking a closer look, he saw a star on the right hand side shining as brightly as ever it stood out from the other stars, a smile appeared on his face, He felt it was his di, taking a deep breath he cleared his head and calmed down and then said in a soft voice) Hi Di.... (a small pause and another deep breath) I miss you a lot, and i don't know if you can see me or even hear me at all. but still i am doing this because i think you are hearing me and even seeing... (he again paused a rush of emotions came within him and he felt a warmth he took another deep breath and then started to speak again) Di ever since you left everything has changed i don't know if its good or bad or what it is but it has changed. The kids have grown up. Annika looks just like you, Anuj reminds me of myself when i was his age (he chuckled) and Aarti is the most cutest she is such a baby and to be honest i kind of feel protective or her. She is my little baby and she has always been that. i know i am bad with expressing my emotions but i am trying (a smile on his face Aarti who was hearing him talk felt so good about what he was saying she knew he loved her a lot and had a problem expressing it, He continued to talk) Di i am here 2 talk to you today about Khushi what is it with that girl that make me feel like this my heart pounds when she comes close to me. (he put his hand on his chest) Di i must admit she is really something she is the only one that has the guts to stand up to me and fight with me. She can be quite feisty when she needs to. this is girl is really something but i still don't know why she affects me so much. Ever since she walked into my life she has turned it up side down i hate to admit it but every night i am awake thinking of her what is this weird emotion i really don't know why do i feel like this (the warmth within him started to spread more and more and his heart started to beat faster and faster as flash backs of Khushi came into his mind and he had a smile on his face, but still he didn't understand what it was, a gush of wind blew in and washed his face with the air giving him a sense that his sister was listening) Di i don't know for how long this is going to go on but i feel nice to have spoke to you about this.
Aarti shut her eyes as she saw him come in. He made his way on to the bed and got in. Aarti nuzzled close to him and he smirked a bit seeing her angel like face, he shut the lights and went to sleep.
It was middle of the night and Aarti kept tossing and turning around, the only thing that was running in her mind was all the observations that she made today of Arnav and Khushi. the flash back in her mind of Khushi jealous of that La, the small eye lock that happened between Arnav and Khushi downstairs when they were eating dinner, and now with Arnav talking his feelings out to the stars using Khushi's theory of the stars being the people who are dead. This was a real Jigsaw puzzle to her.
Aarti: (talking in her head) Oh what is all this i am so confused what is going on. Khushi didi jealous and Arnav mamma feeling like this. Why are they feeling like this, I though they hate each other a lot but they don't mamma's heart beats every time didi comes close and didi also starts acting funny in front of mamma. Iss confusion ko kya naam doon.
she got irritated and tried to go back to sleep, but sleep was far far away she wanted to figure it out soon. She slowly slipped out of bed and went to the pool side to also talk to her mother about this confusion
Aarti: (looking up at the stars and whispering she said, in her baby voice) Hi mama, i have a secrete and so thats why i am whispering to you (she put her finger on her lips and said) Shhh don't tell any one ok.. (she smiled and then said) mama lots of funny things are happening Khushi didi is jealous of La and Arnav mamma's heart beats cuz of Khushi didi, and i don't know what is happening. you know mama when Arnav mamma and Khushi didi come face to face they look into each others eyes and they looks so lost almost like how a prince and princess look at each other. I remember Cinderella also looked at her prince like that. (then a though struck her head and she spoke out aloud) Arnav mamma a prince and Khushi didi a princess they look into each others eyes and get lost Arnav mamma's heart beats for Khsuhi didi. Khushi didi feels jealous of La when she is with Arnav mamma (she connected the dots and then said out aloud with surprise) Are they in love (a smile appears on her face and she looks up at the sky and then says) Omg mama Arnav mamma and Khsuhi didi love each other. Wow this is so cool (she looked up to see the shining star that grew brighter she looked sad and then she said) But they don't know they love each other, (she paused and then again smiled and said) so what i will make sure they tell each other that they are in love, i am their fairy (she smiled at herself for feeling so happy of figuring it out finally she looked up at the sky and then said) Thanks mama your the best and remember don't tell any one shhhh.... now i am going to sleep i have lots to do 2morrow bye

Chapter 15
Aarti went back and fourth on the swing that Khsuhi was pushing. she was in deep though about what happened with Arnav a while back. Rewinding the memory in her mind she though of how La had her arms around him. Anger coming into her she hated every bit of it. Her eyes became moist and her heart swelled in pain she looked annoyed.Her heart started to beat faster as she remembered her close encounters with him. The way he would pulls her into his arms and she would rest her breasts on him made her feel so good. Why what was the magic that pulled her towards him. He was her boss she was an employee and thats all, so what was this unusual connection that she had with this beast like angry man. Her head was spinning away.
Khushi: khushi what is happening to you, your going mad. This lead governor is driving you crazy. Why is it bothering you if he was with that LA. What difference does it make to you. She is his girl friend and she will hug and kiss him any time she wants to. so why are you so affected by it.
(she paused and then answered her questions) off course i am affected buy it. how can i not be. He has only taken me in his arms yes he is ruthlessly done it but still that counts na. i am still in his arms and so close to him. Ahhhhh (she left out a soft angry voice and stop the pushing of the swing)
Aarti: who noticed Khsuhi in frustration heard every word of what she said and she knew exactly who she was talking about it was her Arnav mamma who was troubling her didi, she was jealous of La, she could see something is going on here but what she couldn't gauge her tinny like brain started to churn as she slowly got of the swing and said
Aarti: Didi i am tired can we sit for sometime
Khsuhi: (was biting her lip when she looked down at her and said) yes sure we can
they spread the mat and sat on it Anuj was playing football with his friends near by and Annika was with Ishaan at a seeable distance. Aarti observed the sweat beads forming on Khushi and she saw her bite her nails as she keenly observed her. She asked in a baby voice
Aarti: what happened didi
Khsuhi: (aloof) nothing sweat heart
Aarti: are you sure you look sad
Khushi smiled and pretended to be happy brushing her thoughts off Aarti knew something was wrong for sure.
It was around 7:30 and it was time to go home Annika and Anuj met Khushi and Aarti at the spot and they all sat in the car. Anuj was so tired from playing that he fell asleep on Khsuhi's lap in the car. Aarti was looking out of the window and Annika was telling khushi about her date
Annika: Oh di it was the most magical thing ever Ishaan is so cute (she said with twinkling eyes)
Khushi: (smiled) good i am glad you had a good time
Annika: i had more than a good time di
Khushi and Annika chatted while Aarti looked out the window. They reached home it was almost dinner time. They had a bath and then came down for dinner. Everyone was normal on the dinning table the family laughed and chatted after dinner got over they watched a movie the entire family joint in and had some quality time as they giggled on the funny scenes, every one laughed except for Arnav and Khushi who were quite. Both affected by the other Khushi because she was nervous about the evening encounter and Arnav because he just wanted to observe her. Aarti watch the two take glimpse of each other this confusion still in her mid as to what was going on and why were these two behaving so strange with each other.
The movie got over and now it was time to sleep. Arnav said
Arnav: You should all sleep now its late
Anuj: please a little time more (he asked)
Arnav: its 12 and its late for you
Anuj: mama please 12:30 can we sleep my fav cartoon is coming (he looked up at Arnav pleading)
Arnav: fine no later that 12:30, i want you in bed
Anuj: thanks (he smiled)
Annika sat with Anuj in the tv room messaging Ishaan while Khsuhi picked Aarti up in her arms and then said
Khsuhi: come on sweet heart you should sleep now
Aarti: ok didi (she said yawning and then said) But i want to sleep in mamma's room again (She said in a baby voice)
Arnav and Khsuhi looked at her. Arnav didn't expect this one night was fine but again she is sleeping in his room. Khushi noticed his discomfort she didn't want to mess with him today so she said
Khushi: Aarti come today you sleep with me in my room i will tell you a story
Arnav noticed her tone of voice as she spoke it was a nervous voice
Aarti: didi you can tell me a story in mamma's room as well i want to sleep in his room (she said)
Khushi tried to bargain with her but it didn't work and Arnav knew this wouldn't end and so he said
Arnav: ok come sleep in my room
he pulled her from Khushi's arms and took her in his Khushi was shocked what is this man made off at times he is nice and at times he is so rude. She looked at him blank and he smirked and then said in a husky voice
Arnav: I am taking her with me and from now on she will sleep in my room

Annika: i had more than a good time di
Khushi and Annika chatted while Aarti looked out the window. They reached home it was almost dinner time. They had a bath and then came down for dinner. Everyone was normal on the dinning table the family laughed and chatted after dinner got over they watched a movie the entire family joint in and had some quality time as they giggled on the funny scenes, every one laughed except for Arnav and Khushi who were quite. Both affected by the other Khushi because she was nervous about the evening encounter and Arnav because he just wanted to observe her. Aarti watch the two take glimpse of each other this confusion still in her mid as to what was going on and why were these two behaving so strange with each other.
The movie got over and now it was time to sleep. Arnav said
Arnav: You should all sleep now its late
Anuj: please a little time more (he asked)
Arnav: its 12 and its late for you
Anuj: mama please 12:30 can we sleep my fav cartoon is coming (he looked up at Arnav pleading)
Arnav: fine no later that 12:30, i want you in bed
Anuj: thanks (he smiled)
Annika sat with Anuj in the tv room messaging Ishaan while Khsuhi picked Aarti up in her arms and then said
Khsuhi: come on sweet heart you should sleep now
Aarti: ok didi (she said yawning and then said) But i want to sleep in mamma's room again (She said in a baby voice)
Arnav and Khsuhi looked at her. Arnav didn't expect this one night was fine but again she is sleeping in his room. Khushi noticed his discomfort she didn't want to mess with him today so she said
Khushi: Aarti come today you sleep with me in my room i will tell you a story
Arnav noticed her tone of voice as she spoke it was a nervous voice
Aarti: didi you can tell me a story in mamma's room as well i want to sleep in his room (she said)
Khushi tried to bargain with her but it didn't work and Arnav knew this wouldn't end and so he said
Arnav: ok come sleep in my room
he pulled her from Khushi's arms and took her in his Khushi was shocked what is this man made off at times he is nice and at times he is so rude. She looked at him blank and he smirked and then said in a husky voice
Arnav: I am taking her with me and from now on she will sleep in my room
Aarti: (smiled at her mamma and said) Wow thanks mamma
Arnav walked past Khushi whose mouth was wide open after hearing this.
Chapter 14
It was around 4 o clock when Annika came running to khushi who was busy with making Aarti's hair.
Annika: hi di
Khushi: hi
Annika: Di today is such a lovely day na
Khushi: (looking out of the window she smiled) yes it is
Annika: i was thinking what if we decide to go 2 the park today
Aarti: what a great idea i can play on the swings (she chirped)
Aanika: no not you, i mean me (she said in a jiff)
Khuhsi looked up at her surprised and then Aanika stammered and said
Annika: you di, i mean.... uh (out of words)
Khsuhi smiled at her and completed her sentence saying
Khushi: You want to go 2 the park to meat Ishaan (she smirked)
Annika: (blushed and then said) how do you know
Khushi: (smiled and put her hand on her face and said in a loving voice) i know... but we have one problem and thats Laad Govenor that khadoos mama of your will do natal
Annika: (worried ) i know di thats why i don't know what 2 do
Khushi: don't worry we will figure something out, what time you want to go
Annika: around 6
Khushi: ok no problem i know what to do. we will tell him we all want to come 2 the park
Annika: but di, i want to be alone with ishaan
Khsuhi: i know don't worry you and ishaan go to the other end and i will take Aarti and Auj to the swings and slides to play and then we can go back together we won't disturb you (she teased her)
Annika blushed and nodded with a smile. Khushi made Aarti's hair and then headed off to the Arnav's room to ask for permission. As she came and knocked on the door the room was empty she walked into his deep lair and entered the ajoinging pool side and to her surprise her eyes popped at the sight that she witnessed in front of her. Lanaya was in Arnav's arms. She could see that he was trying hard to get her off but she was just not letting go. Arnav flinching until he heard a hustling noise and looked up to see Khushi who looked as if she had seen the christmas ghost of past. It took him a minute to register then he smirked and then let go of La. she looked at him and then turned around to see Khushi. There was silence and then La spoke
La: What are you doing here (she said with attitude)
Khushi: (blinked back at her and then said in a lost voice) Uh uh...
La: are you just going to making muttering noises come on hurry up why are you here can't you see ASR is busy (she yelled and Arnav looked silent waiting to see how she would react)
Khushi: (who had just enough said in a stern voice) Mam i am not here to interrupt your little love session or should i say more like force session.
La: (angry) How dare you, what do you mean force session. ASR your maid is rude
Khushi: (corrected her) Ah Ah. I am not a maid i am the governess of the children, mind you language mam
La: Thats it ASR are you going to let her talk to me like this ?? (she looked at Arnav)
Arnav looked at her blank he was amused at Khushi's bold step towards La, and frankly he sort off wanted to get rid of her. But she just want going, so khushi coming in and upsetting her was a perfect reason for her to leave. Off corse he would have to deal with the brunt later but then he would make up for it by buying her a diamonds
La saw his no reaction look and stomped out of there leaving Khushi and Arnav alone to look at each other. There was silence and none said a word. They stared at each other Arnav broke the silence and said in straight tone
Arnav: You wanted something
Khushi: yeah i wanted to ask can i take the kids to the park
Arnav nodded she breathed a sigh of relief for him saying yes and then he turned around to keep his phone down on the bed. she stood there silent for a second and then said
Khushi: uh thank you
Arnav turned around and looked at her blank she said
Khushi: For not telling me anything in front of her i mean i spoke to her rudely and you never yelled at me thanks
Arnav smirked and then again pulled her close to his chest her breasts again on his hard tone body he smirked and held her back tightly towards him and then said
Arnav: you think i didn't tell her anything because you were right
Khushi looked blank at him all lost as she saw his mischievous eyes he pulled her close and breathed on her face his hot air brushing across her skin making her senses got nuts he said in a husky voice
Arnav: i wanted to get rid of her for now. But she wasn't listening and so when you and she had a fight it was a perfect excuse for her to leave and thats why i kept quite
Khushi: (let out a sigh of shock and then said in stunned voice) but she left in anger and she was angry with you.
Arnav: (raised his eye brow and then said) thats not a problem she will be alright soon
Khushi: (in a sad voice) and how would you know that
Arnav: I'll buy her some diamonds and she will forget about everything (saying that he left her in a jiffy and she went back. He smirked at her and then said) don't be too late i want to kids back home by 8

Chapter 13
It was early morning as the sun came gushing into the room through the curtains. It hit light on the bed where Arnav and Aarti were sleeping. Arnav had his arms around her tiny child like waist and she was close to him feeling protected in his warm embrace feeling safe from everything from the outside world. She nuzzled close to him at night and he for some resin felt nice when she did. It made him feel protective and responsible for her. The night went off well. she woke up a few times crying because of her dream but he assured her that she was safe and no one could touch her as long as he was around.
Ratna who happened to walk past Arnav room to wake him slowly entered into the room and was shocked beyond words to see Aarti there with hi8m, she was bundled into Arnav they both looked so cute and sweet just like father and daughter. Ratna was amazed at the warmth the two shared indirectly and it made her feel good somewhere in her heart she knew that Khushi was responsible for this. A smile came to her face thanking that sweet angle for walking into their lives. She was turning around to leave when she heard his voice
Arnav: Ma
She turned around to see him sit up on the bed and rub his eyes. She smiled and said to him
Ratna: Good morning Chottey,
Arnav: Good morning Ma.
Ratna: Chottey how come Aarti betiya is here with you
Arnav: Oh that woh, she was crying at night she had a bad dream, and was looking for Khushi but couldn't find her so i took care of her
Ratna: thats nie, its good to see you bonding with them, she loves a lot Chotte.
Arnav: ( looked at the sleeping little angle next to him she looked cute he stifled through her hair and moved her flicks and said) I know ma
Ratna smiled and then asked him to come down for breakfast leaving his room.She went to tell Nani who was more than overjoyed by this news. She sent up a silent pray to bring back the closeness and happiness back into their lives.
Back in Arnav's room he was getting up to go to brush when he felt a little cough he looked back at her she opened her eyes slowly and sat on the bed rubbing them. her hair was all messy and she was holding her stuffed animal in her hand she took a second to register where she was and then a smile came on her face she looked up to see Arnav looking down at her observing her she said in a bubbly voice
Aarti: good morning mamma
Arnav: Good morning how are you feeling
Aarti: i am fine, thank you mamma for taking care of me last night
Arnav: (nodded and then said) ok now go brush and come down for breakfast
Aarti stood up on the bed she reached Arnav's height and then kissed his cheek he was taken by surprise she gave him one of her cute wet slobbery kiss on his cheek and then wound her arms around him and then said in a cute voice
Aarti: mamma your the best i love you
Saying that she got off and ran out of the room in excitement. Arnav could only smile at her action he was amused by her innocence he got off to go and brush.
Meanwhile Khushi was in the kitchen hoping and praying to devi maya that Laad Govenor doesn't murder her for yesterday. Aarti had come looking for her and she wasn't there this could be a reason for him to get back at her. But that was secondary she was happy that Arnav took Aarti in and comforted her and that was what she wanted now to get something she had to pay a price. She was bringing the orange juice on the table Aarti was seated next to her brother and sister Arnav had also come down buy then.
Annika: Aarti where were you last night when i got up you weren't in the room
Aarti: woh didi i slept with Arnav mamma last night in his room
Anuj and Annika looked had a shocked expression on their face that didn't go unnoticed by Khushi and Arnav and then Anuj asked
Anuj: why you slept in mamma's room
Aarti: Bhaya last night i had a bad dream i went to Khushi didi's room as well but she wasn't there then i met Arnav mamma so he took care of me.
Annika: (looked at Arnav and said) Thanks
Arnav: for what
Annika: for taking care of her
Arnav: (with hurt expressions and a straight face) Do you really think i am so bad that i would leave you alone when you are scared
Annika and Anuj didn't know what say they looked at each other for the first time with sadness how could they doubt him like this yes he was rude and mean and always angry but they knew he loved them, he just never showed it and it felt nice to see him show his love Annika smiled at him and then said
Annika: i am sorry, mamma
Arna nodded and then Khushi said
Khushi: ok kids come eat your breakfast after this we have to sit and do your homework
Anuj: (sulking) homework ugh didi no its summer vocation can't we chill for a while please its just started
Aanika: yeah didi we will do don't worry, but not today
Khushi :(chuckled and then said) exactly its the starting of the break so you should do little by little so that it gets over fast only for 1 hour
Anuj: (looked at Arnav who was amused at this home work situation and said) Mamma say something
Arnav looked blank at this point Khushi looked up at him and then he smirked a bit
Anuj: i agree home work is boring you should have fun
Khushi: Arnavji please they have to finish a little i am not saying the whole thing but yes they should start at least with it
Anuj and Annika together: please didi (they made pouting faces)
Khushi looked at them unable to resist she nodded and then said in a rush
Khushi: fine but tomorrow you two will not be spared
They hugged her and then merrily skipped off to their rooms with Aarti.
Arnav on the other hand was still on the breakfast table drinking his juice she was cleaning up the table he leaned forward and asked with a smirk
Arnav: so how come you agreed (he raised his eye brows)
Khushi: agreed for what (she asked pretending)
Arnav: for not doing the homework off course
Khushi: oh that uh just i mean they have a point its summer vocation
Arnav: oh really they have a point or i have a point (he got up and went close to her)
Khsuhi: they have a point
Arnav: (he smirked and pushed her to the wall and pinned her by it her breasts again perking out to his chest he some how liked that her breasts rested on him with a teasing husky voice he said) Why don't you just admit i was right
Khsuhi: (looked up at him shy and timid and then pulled herself together and then said) why should i when you don't admit that i am right why should i admit when your right (she said defending)
Arnav looked confused and then Khushi said
Khsuhi: i told you the stars resemble the dead and its true they do, the day you admit that i am right in that case that day i will admit your right in this case.
Arnav: so you want me to tell you that you were right (he said with a smirk)
Khsuhi: yes i do (she said breathing heavily)
Arnav: its a challenge Khsuhi
She nodded silently there was a pause she felt his breath fan across her face and his after shave cologne was tempting her with desire he broke the silence
Arnav: by the way where were you she n Aarti was crying
Khushi: (coughed a bit getting nervous now she said) uh woh i was in the bathroom

Khushi: (looked at him and then said) yes i was
Arnav was about to speak she he heard Ratna come in he left her and went to his seat Khushi's straightened herself.
Ratna: the children look happy especially our little Aarti
Nani: yes off corse she slept with her mamma last night thats why she is so happy
Khushi smiled at both of them and then Arnav said
Arnav: ma i am going for a bath he looked at khushi who was blushing for some reson and then headed off to his room.

Chapter 12
A while later they all retrieved to their rooms Khushi had just put the kids to sleep she was going to her room when she saw Arnav looking up at the stars and watching them closely she slowly walked into his room and stood by him and then said in a soft voice.
Khushi: they pretty arent they
Arnav: what (he said pretending)
Khushi: the stars. they are so nice when they glow in the night sky
Arnav: (asked in a meaningful voice) your parents really... (he couldn't complete the sentence)
Khushi: (in a soft voice) yeah they died when i was a child in a car accident
Arnav: but what about the people in laxmi nagar
Khushi: they are my masa and masi and they have adopted me, and treated me like their daughter and they love me a lot so i call them Amma and Babuji. (she said in a sad voice)
Arnav: felt her pain, it was affecting him and he felt bad knowing her condition she knew what it was like to loose people who are so close ones heart. But he never showed it his he was hard from outside. he took a deep breath and then she said
Khushi: Arnavji can i ask you something
Arnav: hmm
Khushi: your sister loved you alot na
Arnav: looked at her with out any answer he just observed her and saw how she asked him about it no one spoke to him about this matter they were all scared to but she did she asked him and it was getting to him, his hard nature started to take over him and anger started to strike still she continued to and she again spoke
Khushi: you can still talk to her through the stars you know
And thats it Arnavs anger had reached the height he pulled her again by the waist and pinned her to wall and Khushi looked at him in shock in one point he was so nice and in the other he was a beast. Arnav held her hard and pulled her closer her breasts perky as she wound her eyes and saw him he said in a stone cold voice.
Arnav: Listen Khushi Kumari Gupta understand something i am not a child that this silly thing will work on me get it. I know the truth and i can deal with it, she has gone and she will never return these silly ridiculous ways will not make her close to me or any one understand
he said breathing hard on her face she could feel his moist breath on her face and could smell his after shave,but she snapped out of it in a bang and looked into his eyes and then said.
Khushi: who ever said that this theory is for children only, it depends on belief and if you believe you will understand else you wont its up to you Mr Raizada. (she said in a defending voice and then pushed him back and ran out of the room leaving Arnav stunned at the way she answered back to him)
it was late night and Arnav was thinking about how khushi spoke about the stars and her theory her words played in his mind and he remembered the look on the children's faces, how happy they were when they knew that their mother was watching over them always. He remembered how sweetly aarti asked khushi questions and she answered them how she told them about her story and how she feels happy seeing the stars. His thoughts were broken when he heard a crying sound. He went out to check and found a crying Aarti who was looking sad as she slolwy held her teddy bear and was crying he wondered what she was doing out of bed.
Arnav: what happened why are you crying and what your doing out of bed(he knelt down and asked her)
Aarti: (sniffing and sobbing) mammu i... (sobbing) i...saw a bad dream... i saw that you left me and went away (she started to cry hard).... i was looking for khushi didi but she wasnt there... (sobbing) mammu i promise i will be a good girl i wont trouble you please... dont leave me (sobbing and sniffing)
Arnav: (tried to calm her he was a bit lost though) shhh shhh..... dont cry
Aarti: mammu.... (she sobbing and sniffing)
he finally took her into a warm hug and she cried on his shoulders he rapped his arms around her and pulled her into a tight hug making her feel secure. Then he said
Arnav: go to sleep come on. (he said to her)
Aarti: can i sleep with you.. (she looked up at Arnav)
Arnav: (didnt want to say to her, seeing her tears rolling down her eyes, he took a deep breath and the said) Ok come with me
He held her tinny finger and took her to his room, behind the door Khushi hid and watched the whole scene and a soft smile appeared on her face and she said to herself
Khushi: So it turns out you arent as hard as what you look like (she chuckled to herself feeling happy that he was taking Aarti in)
Arnav braught her to his room and she climbed on his bed he took a deep breath as she tucked herself in. He got into the bed as well on the other side and Aarti came close to him and snuggled next to him feeling safe Arnav was so not use to this cuddling. Then she said
Aarti: mammu can i ask you something
Arnav: what
Aarti: do you believe what Khushi didi said about the stars
Arnav kept quite and didnt answere he didnt want any one to know what he thought then Aarti said
Aarti: Arnav mammu i love you and i know you love me and Anika didi and Anuj bhaya alot.
Arnav still didnt say anything he kept quite and then finally she said
Aarti: mammu you wont leave me na (she said in a scared voice)
Arnav: (took a final deep breath and turned to her and then said) no i wont i will never leave you
Aarti kissed him on his cheek and then said in a happy voice feeling safe
Aarti: good night mammu i love you
Arnav shut of the lights and they fell asleep aarti felt so safe with Arnav she loved him alot she loved him the most she always thought of him as a prince of some fairy tale strong and charming waiting for his princess.

And thats it Arnavs anger had reached the height he pulled her again by the waist and pinned her to wall and Khushi looked at him in shock in one point he was so nice and in the other he was a beast. Arnav held her hard and pulled her closer her breasts perky as she wound her eyes and saw him he said in a stone cold voice.
Arnav: Listen Khushi Kumari Gupta understand something i am not a child that this silly thing will work on me get it. I know the truth and i can deal with it, she has gone and she will never return these silly ridiculous ways will not make her close to me or any one understand
he said breathing hard on her face she could feel his moist breath on her face and could smell his after shave,but she snapped out of it in a bang and looked into his eyes and then said.

it was late night and Arnav was thinking about how khushi spoke about the stars and her theory her words played in his mind and he remembered the look on the children's faces, how happy they were when they knew that their mother was watching over them always. He remembered how sweetly aarti asked khushi questions and she answered them how she told them about her story and how she feels happy seeing the stars. His thoughts were broken when he heard a crying sound. He went out to check and found a crying Aarti who was looking sad as she slolwy held her teddy bear and was crying he wondered what she was doing out of bed.
Arnav: what happened why are you crying and what your doing out of bed(he knelt down and asked her)
Aarti: (sniffing and sobbing) mammu i... (sobbing) i...saw a bad dream... i saw that you left me and went away (she started to cry hard).... i was looking for khushi didi but she wasnt there... (sobbing) mammu i promise i will be a good girl i wont trouble you please... dont leave me (sobbing and sniffing)
Arnav: (tried to calm her he was a bit lost though) shhh shhh..... dont cry
Aarti: mammu.... (she sobbing and sniffing)
he finally took her into a warm hug and she cried on his shoulders he rapped his arms around her and pulled her into a tight hug making her feel secure. Then he said
Arnav: go to sleep come on. (he said to her)
Aarti: can i sleep with you.. (she looked up at Arnav)
Arnav: (didnt want to say to her, seeing her tears rolling down her eyes, he took a deep breath and the said) Ok come with me
He held her tinny finger and took her to his room, behind the door Khushi hid and watched the whole scene and a soft smile appeared on her face and she said to herself
Khushi: So it turns out you arent as hard as what you look like (she chuckled to herself feeling happy that he was taking Aarti in)
Arnav braught her to his room and she climbed on his bed he took a deep breath as she tucked herself in. He got into the bed as well on the other side and Aarti came close to him and snuggled next to him feeling safe Arnav was so not use to this cuddling. Then she said
Aarti: mammu can i ask you something
Arnav: what
Aarti: do you believe what Khushi didi said about the stars
Arnav kept quite and didnt answere he didnt want any one to know what he thought then Aarti said
Aarti: Arnav mammu i love you and i know you love me and Anika didi and Anuj bhaya alot.
Arnav still didnt say anything he kept quite and then finally she said
Aarti: mammu you wont leave me na (she said in a scared voice)
Arnav: (took a final deep breath and turned to her and then said) no i wont i will never leave you
Aarti kissed him on his cheek and then said in a happy voice feeling safe
Aarti: good night mammu i love you
Arnav shut of the lights and they fell asleep aarti felt so safe with Arnav she loved him alot she loved him the most she always thought of him as a prince of some fairy tale strong and charming waiting for his princess.
Chapter 11
The children were sitting on the terrace with Khushi and watching the stars admiring the beauty they were having a blast they had a bag of pop corn and some juice and were having their little picnic with pj's on. they were chit chatting Aarti was on Khushi's lap they were telling stories to each other and talking about random things.
Anuj: Didi the movie we went for today was so nice i loved the way that nemo's father dodged that shark he had teeth so sharp and he looked so big (he said excited)
Annika: ya the movie was cute and i loved nemo he was so little
Aarti: nemo was a baby didi and he was so tiny just like me (she said happily)
Khushi: (kissed her cheek and then said) yes just like you.
Meanwhile Arnav was on his lap top. the thought of what just happened in the kitchen with Khushi was driving hi crazy she was so close to him. He wondered where they were coming from slowly going towards that direction he saw the terrace door was open.The giggling noises became louder and louder and he knew that some one was up in the terrace and out of curiosity he climbed up the steps and entered the terrace and too his surprise there she was with the children dressed in a white salwar kameez her hair flying she had Aarti on her lap, The kids were laughing away they were sitting in a circle on the floor on top of mats and chattering away Khushi was hugging Aarti kissing her cheek and Anuj was sleeping on her lap and Annika was sitting opposite them. It was a site to see them as the moon light shined on her directly it highlighted her features making him notice that small little nose of her and her cute scrunched up eye brows. Arnav was in a trance but he snapped out of it when he saw little Aarti tug on his pant he looked down and her and she gave him her best smile ever and said
Aarti: mamma mamma when did you come here
Arnav: (looked towards Khushi and as she saw him with her dough like innocent eyes she got up and the he knelt down and said) just now but what are you doing here
Aarti: we are watching the stars (she pointed at the sparkling dots up)
Arnav followed her finger and then she said too him
Aarti: Arnav mamma come with us and watch the stars na she held his hand, Arnav was going to stop her butshe held on to him and then pulled him to Khushi, she made him sit down on the mat and then they all sat Arnav was as blank as a slate he didnt know what to do. Khushi felt conscious seeing him Aarti sat in between them and then they began chatting again Khushi and Arnav were super the children noticed Annika could feel that something was going on, but kept it to herself. Anuj noticed it too but preferred to keep quite and Aarti the tinniest was lost in her own world she was jabbering away and then suddenly she asked
Aarti: why do stars glow mamma (she looked at him innocently)
Arnav: (tugged on him again and said) Tell know mamma why do stars glow
Arnav: (hesitating not knowing what to answer he said) uh uh.. Stars glow because..
Annika and Anuj were enjoying their mamma fumble their little sister had caught hold of him nicely. Khushi knew he was uncomfortable and then she took Aarti in her lap Arnav watched her actions she slowly pointed at the dots of light above and said in a loving voice
Khushi: you know what baby when the stars shine they say that they are watching over you.
Arnav watched as she explained and Aarti questioned again
Aarti: Khushi didi why do they watch over us
Khushi: they help us and look after us when we make mistakes.

they all looked up and the shy to see the dot that was glowing the most and then a smile came on their faces seeing it associating it with there mother the children were happy a soft smile came on their faces and then Annika said

Anuj: yeah she does, didi can we talk to her
Khushi and Arnav looked at each other and then Khushi said
Khushi: yes you can sh is always there to listen to you she loves you all so much
Aarti: Di can we tell her that we love her and miss her alot
Khushi: (caressed her hair and then said in a loving voice) off course u can
Aarti: I love you mama, i miss you. We all do Annika didi Anuj Bhaya Arnav mamma also love you and miss you. (saying that she rubbed her eyes and then rested her head on Khushi's lap and shut her eyes)
Arnav and the rest were quite seeing the innocent child rest nicely after talking to her mother each t

Chapter 10
It was early morning when Arnav heard the birds chirp he opened his eyes slowly. When he saw his mother sitting on the edge of the bed. She was smiling down at him, he got up from the bed in a sitting position.
Arnav: Ma you here so early in the morning all ok
Ratna: yeah all is good i just though i would come and wake you up like i used to before when you were a baby (she caressed his cheek lovingly way)
Arnav smiled at her, he rarely smiled but when it came to his sister and mother he would go out of his way to make them happy. His mother smiled at him once more and then said
Ratna: CHotte jaldi say haat mu dho lo and come down for breakfast i have to talk to you about something
Arnav: about what ma, is all ok
Ratna: all is fine i will tell you first you brush and come
He nodded and then left to brush, while Ratna went down to the kitchen to get his coffee ready.
Meanwhile Khushi was up with the kids she had taken them to watch a movie for the early morning show they had made the pan yesterday Ratna and nani had given them permission to go and enjoy. Arnav came down in his tracks and sweat shirt and got seated on the table to eat his breakfast, Ratna was opposite him. he was drinking his coffee when Ratna asked
Ratna: Chotte to want to aks you something
Arnav: yes ma what is it
Ratna: Chotte i want you ask you about LA
Arnav: (stopped drinking his coffee looked up at her and asked) What about her
Ratna: what are you planning Chotte ar you going to marry her
Arnav: WHat the !!! marry La (he asked shocked)
Ratna: Chotte i am asking you are you going to marry her (she asked directly)
Arnav: (still in shock) Ma i dont know i mean i never thought of it and that to to LA i mean we are just seeing each other now and its no even serious.
Ratna: Chotte its high time you look for a girl and settle down. You are growing older.
Arnav: Ma i dont know give me some time i mean i don't know what to say.
Ratna: Chotte although i must tell you that girl is not some one who i am happy with but if your happy with her then i am happy, but i want you to take the decision soon.
Arnav nodded, shrugging this conversation off eating his breakfast he wasnt able to say no to his mother marriage wasnt a big deal for him, he was a rogue a loner and being tied down would ruin him. Besides believing in true love and sole mates was all rubbish to him.
The day passed by and Khushi and the children returned home from the movie they were discussing talking chatting away about the movie they just saw. Khushi had gone to make milk and snacks for them and get some tea for her when she bumped into to Arnav in the kitchen who was there to have a glass of water, they looked tat each other and none of them spoke Khushi was making the tea when she out of curtsey asked
Khushi: Arnavji would you like some tea and jalebies, i am making some for myself
Arnav: (in a rude voice) no
Khushi: (being herself again asked) Do you want coffee
Arnav: (again in a rude voice) No
Khushi: waise Arnavji how was your day
Arnav: (who was now angry with her constant talking said) What the! whats wrong with you cant you see i am not interested in talking to you
Khushi: (made a face) Ok whats the big deal why are you shouting i am crazy not deaf you know (she said chuckling at her joke)
Arnav: (pulled her to the wall and pinned her to it locking her from both sides she said in a rough voice) Listen Khushi Kumari Gupta you think that your bubbly act can make me like soft towards i know exactly what you are understand and dont think i didnt notice you when you saw my girl friend i saw the look you had
Khushi: (who was breathing loud her chest was heaving and she opened her eyes in shock as to how he knew what she felt, she quickly reflected back) Mr Arnav Singh Raizada think what you want to dont know and i dont care i asked you nicely for tea and coffee, and about you girl friend i dont care its your life do what you want with it. (she said in an angry voice she freed herself and was walking away when he held the end of her dupatta and she stopped with the pull took a deep breath and then turned around he was holding her dupatta, he smirked and then pulled her close she came crashing on his chest her hands on his chest he pulled her closer her breasts resting on him, she squeezed her eyes and started to breath heavily getting scared, her heart beating fast with the closeness to him, he was breathing on her face the moist air washed over her it felt nice she didnt know why. They stayed like that for two minuets Arnav kept starring at her she looked so cute and so innocent. The closeness was making his heart beat too time had stopped for them. Khushi opened her eyes when she didnt see any movement from Arnav, she looked up at him he was still holding her very close and was looking into her caramel eyes, she looked back at him they shared an eye lock and then Arnav said in a husky voice
Arnav: Dont think i dont notice you, i see every move of yours what your doing what your saying what your wearing. You havent gone unnoticed (and in a swift movement he left her she gasped out aloud looking at him with big eyes still breathing heavily, he walked away from the kitchen leaving Khushi stunned.)
A while later she was still in the kitchen and was standing in front of the gas all angry as she twirled into the oil, Aarti and Annika came into the kitchen to see an angry khushi they stood in front of her and then said
Khushi: What does that Laad Governor think of himself i hate it i hate him i hate him. (she kept twirling into the oil)
Aarti and Annika looked confused and then Aarti said
Aarti: Didi what are you doing, why are you sad, did you fight with maama again
Khushi: (looked up and just nodded her head and then she said) when i get sad i make jalebies
Annika: Oh (she hugged her and then said) Oh didi dont be sad, Mamma is cold heart but ink know from inside he is warm and nice, you know when we were children we use to sleep with him in his room like how we sleep with you, he use to be in the middle and we use to sleep with him.
Khushi: (Shocked) What!! that laad governor use to sleep with u all and cuddle you all
Aarti: yeah didi, he use to, when we would miss mama he would hold me at night and sleep my mamma is the best mamma in the whole world and i love him
Khushi: but if he was like that then why did he stop, now he doesnt even talk 2 you all
Annika: because we got older and he got angrier, our mama and mamma were so close mama use to treat him like a son, after she died he has become more angry and more upset, and when we got older he started to take us like a responsibility not out of love, but all three of us know he loves us alot.
Khushi intently listend something was now brewing in her mind, she had to get Arnav to come close to these children again, they need each other, and then may be that khadoos laad govenor will soften up a bit. She shut the gas off and removed the jalebies and one by one was arranging them on the plate. While aarti and Annika watched her and they chatted away. Khushi smartly tried to get as much of info as possible so it could help execute her plan
Chapter 9
As Arnav left with LA, Nani and Ratna started to talk about what just happened, Khushi took the kids inside the room, Nani wasnt happy at all with what was going she didnt like La at all, being a woman of traditions and rituals and wanting a simple bahu La didnt fit the discription at all, Ratna tried to calm her down she had decided not to jump conclusions regarding this, She wanted to talk to her son about it first. Inside the room Khushi was playing with Aartii and her doll set Annika was smiling and messaging on the phone and Anuj was playing with his ps. when suddenly Aarti said
Aarti: khushi didi khushi didi can i ask you something
Khushi: (smiled and said) off course kya poochna chahati ho gudiya
Aarti: Didi who was that girl
Khushi: which girl
Aarti: that girl who was with Arnav mamma down (she asked innocently)
Khushi looked here and there hesitating to tell her, Anuj was hearing them he came and tapped Aarti on the head and said in a obvious voice
Anuj: Stupid thats his girl friend
Khushi looked shocked as to how Anuj knew she asked
Khushi: Anuj how do you know
Then Annika came from behind and then said
Annika: isnt it obvious didi the way he held her it showed that she was more than a friend (she said smirking like how Arnav smirks)
Aarti and khushi looked back shocked and then Aarti said
Aarti: will she marry maama, Didi i dont like her at all she is scary she is not like you
Khushi's heart started to beat as fast as lighting she clutched it tightly she didnt know why but hearing this that Arnav may marry that girl was making her sick to the stomach and she wasnt happy one bit, but again she didnt know why, Anuj and Annika called out to her but there was no response from her end, finally Anuj shook her and she snapped out of it.
Aarti: Batao na didi, will she marry him. i really dont like her
Khushi: No beta dont say like that i am sure she is very nice give her a chance.
Annika and Anuj just shrugged not caring Aarti didnt like La already and Khushi tried to figure out what was going on in her head
Meanwhile Arnav was with La, they were at the Golden Dragon having dinner Arnav was sitting around while la was going on talking away chatting away babbling nonsense which Arnav couldnt careless about.
La: SO ASR your family is quite conservative
Arnav: yeah they are
La: i hope they like me (she said nervous)
Arnav: (while looking at his phone checking his mail said) Give them some time they will ease in, they just met you
La: (she took the phone from his hand and then said) ASR dont be on your phone the whole day spend time with me.
Arnav looked at her blank not bothering to respond she held his hand across the table and then asked
LA: but ASR who was that girl with the children she looked so shocked to see me, BTW she looked so tacky in that salwar that she was wearing
Arnav flash back of Khushi came in his mind he noticed how she was seeing him, his heart started to pump and with out realizing a small smirk came on his face seeing her jelouse he never knew why but he was enjoying to see her like that. He snapped out of it when LA said
LA: why are you smirking tell me, ASR who is she
Arnav: (suddenly realizing he said in an angry voice) i am not smirking, and i would never smirk for that girl (suddenly anger taking over him of why he was thinking so much of her)
LA: (sensed something weird and then tried to change the topic) ASR forget it, ok tell me about the up coming fashion week
They talked at dinner, with LA doing most of the talking and he just pretending to listen to her, but his mind else where. When he came back he was going up to his room when he decided to check upon the children if they were sleeping or not and so he went to their room opening the door he couldn't find them. A streak of worry rushed on his face not finding them he went to the hall the kitchen nani's room his mothers room, annika's room but no sign of them he was about to scream at the top of his voice when he noticed the guest bed room which was Khushi's room, he slowly opened the door, and walked inside it was dark only source of light coming in was that of the moon light which streamed down from the window, he looked towards the bed and there they were sleeping together, with Khushi in the middle Aarti cuddled into her, Anuj on one side and Annika on the other. Khushi's arms were around all of them. They all fell asleep together there was a book on her chest she must be reading to them. Arnav found them so cute they were so at peace as they lay their heads. They looked so much like his sister a small tear trickled from his eyes when he remembered her. Then he slowly came ahead and took the book and placed it on the table near by his eyes went on to the angle who was sleeping so peacefully she looked beautiful her face serene and calm. A warmth spread through him seeing her like that a sort of relief came upon him, he was realizing a bit that she was warm to the children. A few hair flicks were flying over her face he slowly shifted them to the back of her ear and she nuzzled a bit feeling his caress. He moved away quickly not wanting to disturb her at all. His heart wanted to sit their all night and watch her sleep what was it about her that kept attracting him to her. why what was so special in her she was an ordinary middle class woman, then why what was it that caught his eye. But he snapped out of it when the voice in his head screamed
Arnav: (in his head) What is wrong with you why are you paying so much attention to her, she is not worth it dont forget what you are and what she is, she cant match up to ASR standards you know it get up and walk away she is good for the kids and thats why you are tolerating her thats all remember she is nothing more to you.
Anger again spread in him he looked up at her and closed his fists in a tight ball, his eyes glaring at her emotions changing he was heavy in his head he got up and left from there shutting the door behind really hard not worried if he would wake them up. He went to his room. Khushi got up with a big stark hearing the bang she switched on the light and then looked around the three kids were snuggling to her she smiled at them, she was going to get up to find out what the noise source was when she realized that if she got up she would disturb the children and so she shut the light off going back to sleep.

LA: (sensed something weird and then tried to change the topic) ASR forget it, ok tell me about the up coming fashion week
They talked at dinner, with LA doing most of the talking and he just pretending to listen to her, but his mind else where. When he came back he was going up to his room when he decided to check upon the children if they were sleeping or not and so he went to their room opening the door he couldn't find them. A streak of worry rushed on his face not finding them he went to the hall the kitchen nani's room his mothers room, annika's room but no sign of them he was about to scream at the top of his voice when he noticed the guest bed room which was Khushi's room, he slowly opened the door, and walked inside it was dark only source of light coming in was that of the moon light which streamed down from the window, he looked towards the bed and there they were sleeping together, with Khushi in the middle Aarti cuddled into her, Anuj on one side and Annika on the other. Khushi's arms were around all of them. They all fell asleep together there was a book on her chest she must be reading to them. Arnav found them so cute they were so at peace as they lay their heads. They looked so much like his sister a small tear trickled from his eyes when he remembered her. Then he slowly came ahead and took the book and placed it on the table near by his eyes went on to the angle who was sleeping so peacefully she looked beautiful her face serene and calm. A warmth spread through him seeing her like that a sort of relief came upon him, he was realizing a bit that she was warm to the children. A few hair flicks were flying over her face he slowly shifted them to the back of her ear and she nuzzled a bit feeling his caress. He moved away quickly not wanting to disturb her at all. His heart wanted to sit their all night and watch her sleep what was it about her that kept attracting him to her. why what was so special in her she was an ordinary middle class woman, then why what was it that caught his eye. But he snapped out of it when the voice in his head screamed
Arnav: (in his head) What is wrong with you why are you paying so much attention to her, she is not worth it dont forget what you are and what she is, she cant match up to ASR standards you know it get up and walk away she is good for the kids and thats why you are tolerating her thats all remember she is nothing more to you.
Anger again spread in him he looked up at her and closed his fists in a tight ball, his eyes glaring at her emotions changing he was heavy in his head he got up and left from there shutting the door behind really hard not worried if he would wake them up. He went to his room. Khushi got up with a big stark hearing the bang she switched on the light and then looked around the three kids were snuggling to her she smiled at them, she was going to get up to find out what the noise source was when she realized that if she got up she would disturb the children and so she shut the light off going back to sleep.
